Manly Cove is perched on an exposed cliff looking southwest across the harbour.

The entry to this waterfront house is via a timber bridge and over a reflection pond. Upon entering the copper clad entry drum, it becomes apparent the house is composed of several principle volumes; two protected masonry living and bedroom wings, framing views and a soaring central indoor/outdoor space opening to embrace the view through a double height glass wall. This space leads to a broad stone terrace, partially cantilevered over the pool below..

Below this principle level, the lower level sandstone base anchors the building into the site, and houses parking and various bedrooms and living areas in a separate accommodation zone. The outdoor spaces lead you down to a harbour side pool set in amongst the natural beauty of the water’s edge.
